– from the PISA airport -
Take the “FI.PI.LI” highway towards Firenze
(Florence). Take the Pontedera-Volterra exit and follow
signs towards Volterra until you reach Saline di Volterra.
Once you enter the village turn left at the signs for
Pomarance. After you cross the bridge over the Cecina
River turn left and continue straight on this road for
approximately 1 km. Turn right onto the first paved road
and to continue for approximately 1 km.

– from the FLORENCE airport -
Leave Florence and get on the highway “Autostrada
A1” towards Rome and exit at “Firenze-Certosa”.
At the large roundabout get on the Siena-Firenze highway
towards Siena (the first right out of the toll booths).
Exit at Colle Val d’Elsa and then follow signs for
the road SS68 towards Volterra. Once you pass Volterra
follow signs for Saline di Volterra and Cecina. Once you
reach the village of Saline turn left at the signs for
Pomarance. After you cross the bridge over the Cecina
River turn left and continue straight on this road for
approximately 1 km. 'Turn right onto the first paved road
and to continue for approximately 1 km.
From
the highway “Autostrada A1”
Exit at “Firenze-Certosa”. At the large roundabout

Exit at Rosignano Marittimo. Take the small highway towards
Grosseto – Roma – Volterra. Exit at Cecina
Nord – S. Pietro in Palazzi. Turn right following
signs for the road SS68 towards Volterra and continue
on this road until you reach Saline di Volterra. Once
you enter the village turn right at the signs for Pomarance.
